The Macy’s Flower Show is one of my absolute favorite events! Coinciding with the beginning of Spring, designers and guests alike get to witness the remarkable explosion of flowers and plants all over Macy’s store. Each year, a theme is selected that allows floral designers the utmost freedom to express themselves. This year’s theme is especially exciting, ‘America the Beautiful’ and for our 10th year in a row, L’Olivier Floral Atelier is proud to join Macy’s for their stunning celebration of our country’s vast and varied landscapes. We are helping tell America’s story through fabulous flora indigenous to each of our nation’s regions and celebrate iconic destinations from sea to shining sea.
Upon hearing the theme, I was instantly inspired by the verse from our national anthem, ‘For amber waves of grain.’ This year, our ‘Bouquet of the Day’ design incorporates a field of 18,400 stems of seven different colors of wheat and a show-stopping Bald Eagle decorated in the patriotic, American Flag theme! Check out some snaps of our majestic floral creation below on display from March 28-30th and stop by Macy’s at Herald Square to view all of the American-inspired floral installations!
