Fall is my favorite time of year to take a drive outside New York City and experience the vibrant peak foliage. I got the chance to do just that for Robb Report’s Aston Martin Road Rally where participants journeyed to destinations along the East Coast discovering the lush scenery, luxury and allure of New England. L’Olivier Floral Atelier decorated the dinner of one of the Road Rally’s destinations, the stunning and magical Glenmere Mansion, a retreat located about 90 minutes from NYC.
For the spectacular dining experience, L’Olivier filled two silver Christofle champagne buckets with white Tibet roses, lush antique green Dutch hydrangea and mini mojito hydrangea, cascading super parrot tulips and sculpted white calla lilies. Each vessel was accented with loops of lily grass, overflowing springeri and ivy greens. The three petite Christofle champagne buckets were filled with local white dahlias and arabicum. Each was complimented by a sculpted philodendron leaf and overflowing springeri and ivy greens.
The charm of Glenmere was intoxicating as our intimate dinner party tucked into five courses prepared by Chef Gunnar Thompson and delighted in a champagne-only tasting, provided by the Masters of champagne, Krug. We felt as if we were transported to the ‘Great Gatsby-esque era ’ as the band played and we gazed out onto the lush meadows and formal gardens of Glenmere Mansion. Here are some shots of our enchanted evening!
